In June 2021, the first module was held in Bulgaria and Serbia of the “Program for active civic inclusion and development of leadership skills” under the project “Youth Leadership Network” № CB007.2.22.053 implemented by the Association “New Road ”Bulgaria in partnership with the Voice of Vranje Association, Serbia. The project is funded by the European Union through the Interreg-IPA Bulgaria-Serbia Cross-Border Cooperation Program 2014-2020.

The training combines the provision of theoretical knowledge with practical work in small groups and will be aimed at building skills for involving young people in the formation of local and national policies, mastering key elements of civic participation, problem solving, project development, etc. .

40 selected young people from both countries took part in the first module Building Civic Skills.

The lecturers were interesting and relevant for the young people.

A special guest in the first module of the program in Bulgaria was – Natanail Stefanov, co-founder and member of the Board of the Bulgarian Startup Association (BESCO) and Deputy Chairman of “Sofia Tech Park”.
