In Module 2: “Local and National Youth Policy” of the Active Citizenship Program

Inclusion and Development of Leadership Skills “under the Youth Leadership Network Project

№ CB007.2.22.053 implemented by the Association “New Way” Bulgaria in partnership with the Association “Voice of Vranya”, Serbia took 40 participants young people under 29 from both countries.

In the module the participants got acquainted with current topics of national and local policies. Particularly interesting were the lecturers – Ralitsa Kirilova, Deputy Director of 18 SU “William Gladstone” – Sofia, Prof. Dr. Desislava Boshnakova, Head of the Department of Media and Communication at NBU, Assoc. Prof. Alexei Pamporov, Institute of Philosophy and Sociology, BAS Sofia and Building an Advocacy Campaign Mariana Petrova.

The young people had the pleasure to meet and talk about local politics with Ivan Asparuhov, Mayor of Mezdra and Special Guest Ivan Ivanov, creator of “FoodOBox” – the first application against food waste
