The Voice of Vranya Association is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-partisan organization, established on December 17, 2010. Fundamental principles in the work of the Association are the principles of humanity and solidarity. The association works to develop the awareness of the target groups about individual human rights, conducts trainings for changing attitudes, organizes actions to show the existing problems and works to solve them.

The goals of the Association are:

– Promotion and protection of human rights, the rights of minorities and women and the rights of the child

– Combating all forms of discrimination

– Integrate children with special needs and people with disabilities into society

– Development and awareness of universal and individual human rights, awareness of freedom, self-expression and respect for one’s own identity

– Development of cooperation with organizations and associations in the country and abroad through networking

For 8 years a number of projects aimed at human rights protection, education and social protection have been implemented. The work of the Association is focused mainly on marginalized groups of the population. So far, the following 9 projects have been successfully implemented:

– Social mapping of Roma and creation of social maps

– Center for Early Care and Development of Roma Children

– Improving the access of Roma children to education within the existing education system

– Establishment of social protection services at the local level for the elderly

– Creating chances for exercising the right to personal documents

– Support for the development of youth entrepreneurship
